Who are we?
ICF-Veenendaal is a spiritual home for all peoples in Veenendaal. As a multicultural family of faith, our desire is to find, follow and proclaim Jesus.
Background
ICF-Veenendaal was founded in late 2011 to provide a spiritual home for people from non-Dutch backgrounds in Veenendaal. We desire to be a multicolored family of faith around Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
We see ourselves as a family of followers of Jesus. Our desire is for more and more people to find, follow and proclaim Jesus. We want to participate in God’s plan, reaching the nations with the Good News about Jesus.
One in chief
As a congregation, we put God’s word, the Bible, at the center. We believe in God and that He speaks to us through the Bible. We believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We believe in the Holy Spirit and His guidance. We believe in the power of prayer, which is why we continually strive to be a praying community. We also believe that faith must be put into practice. Faith works through love.

Difference in side issues
ICF-Veenendaal is a family in which many Christian traditions come together. Together we are one in the essentials of the Christian faith and at the same time we leave room for difference of opinion on the elaboration of those essentials. We strive to love one another in everything.
Meetings
We meet during the week in our homes. We do this to pray together, read the Bible and be there for each other. Every Sunday we have a big meeting. In it we worship God with song and music, we pray together, we listen to God’s word and its interpretation, and we eat together. We rejoice in the forgiveness Christ wants to give us. That is why we celebrate Holy Communion once a month. In doing so, we say that we should also forgive one another.
Everyone is welcome to come to our services. Even if you are not a Christian. You will feel quite comfortable with us.
